I’ve always loved children’s books. The illustrations and the stories take me to a “happy place”. So, today’s memory maker is focusing on books for children. Each year I would try to find a book to add to our Christmas collection. They now find themselves displayed in our game room where they are accessible for easy reading.

Here’s a few of our family favorites: (in no particular order)

1. Small One by Alex Walsh and Jesse Clay

2. Mary’s Treasure Box by Carolyn Kramlich and Walter Porter

3. The Tale of Three Trees by Angela Elwell Hunt

4. The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg

5. The Legend of the Candy Cane by Lori Walburg

6. How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss

7. Because I Love You by Max Lucado

8. The Pine Tree Parable by Liz Curtis Higgs

9. The Night Before Christmas by Clement Clark Moore

10. The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree by Gloria Houston

You can link on each book title and it will take you to a way you can purchase one of these precious books.
